The logistics industry in Central Asia is in the process of a very dynamic change influenced by both regional and global factors. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan are getting more involved in the international supply chain, and the logistics industry is adapting to new challenges and new opportunities. One of the core causes of this evolution is the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). China’s grand BRI has greatly influenced Central Asia by increasing infrastructure spending and integration. Large-scale projects like building new railway networks and highways are crucial in ensuring that trade routes between Central Asia and China, as well as Europe, become easier.
