Hatsaya Teerananon embarked on her journey in the educational sector in 2020, fresh off her graduation from Chulalongkorn University, amid the challenges posed by the nascent COVID era. Motivated by a desire to navigate the challenge and driven by her accumulated knowledge and experiences, she sought a venture that necessitated minimal initial investment. Recognizing the plethora of opportunities within the educational landscape of Thailand, she identified a gap between existing offerings and the standards she viewed essential.
As the student representative for the National University of Singapore's Asian Undergraduates Summit in 2019, Hatsaya Teerananon assumed a pivotal leadership role.
Drawing from her own student experiences, she noticed a need for more refined, impactful educational solutions. It was this amalgamation of circumstances and insights derived from her time at Chulalongkorn University that propelled her into the realm of education. Thus, her foray into the field was not only a pragmatic response to prevailing circumstances but also a testament to her aspiration to provide students with unparalleled learning experiences.
Serving as the chairperson for the Thailand delegation, she orchestrated the event alongside 30-40 fellow students, spearheading approximately 200 participants. “Leading this diverse team broadened my understanding of respect, essential for effective leadership. Recognizing the varied backgrounds and perspectives, I learned the importance of listening and understanding within a team. Whether facing new challenges or familiar tasks, cohesion and shared goals proved vital for organizational success. This experience significantly enhanced my leadership skills and taught me the value of inclusivity in achieving collective objectives”, adds Hatsaya Teerananon, Founder and CEO at Top League Education.

“For aspiring entrepreneurs, I'd emphasize the importance of embracing failure. It's an inevitable part of the journey towards success. Just as we learn to crawl before walking, we must endure setbacks before triumphs. The key is resilience; despite the pain, maintain a 'just do it' mindset. Failure is not a sign of weakness but a stepping stone to growth. It's okay to stumble; what matters is rising again, even if it's just to walk. I believe failure is definitely a very important ingredient to a well cooked meal. I read this book, and in it, the author discusses how the quality of your life depends on the quality of your decisions. When I read this line, I felt its impact on me.
