JUNEASIA BUSINESS OUTLOOK9NEWSROOMSUEZ SECURES THREE NEW WATER PROJECTS IN ASIAUS and India, two pivotal nations in advanced technologies, must fortify their positions at the forefront to safeguard their respective value systems amidst the era of artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, and biotechnology. This assertion was underscored by India's National Security Advisor (NSA), Ajit Doval, during his address at the Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technologies (iCET) roundtable organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in New Delhi. The iCET initiative, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden in May 2022, has significantly improved strategic collaboration between the two countries, particularly in sectors crucial for technological advancement and defense innovation. NSA Ajit Doval commended the strides made under iCET, emphasizing its contributions across defense innovation roadmaps and startup ecosystems, with a particular nod to the burgeoning semiconductor industry.Echoing these sentiments, US NSA Jake Sullivan highlighted the imperative for robust technology partnerships across innovation, production, and deployment domains, stressing the pivotal role of government support in bolstering private sector initiatives. He affirmed bipartisan US backing for Indian industries, underscoring the necessity of building resilient supply chains and fostering an ecosystem conducive to manufacturing. At the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), SUEZ, a global leader in circular solutions for the management of waste and water, declared three new projects in Asia, showcasing its innovative approach to water management in the industrial and municipal sectors. Emphasizing on digital solutions, seawater desalination and water reuse, these agreement in Singapore, China and in the Philippines outline SUEZ's obligation to tackling critical water issues by empowering networks to adjust to environment influences with upgraded strength. This is accomplished through strategic alliance and circular solutions.SUEZ was as of late granted another agreement by PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency, to convey and keep a Shrewd Water Grid Analytics Platform for its water supply organization. In view of SUEZ's AQUADVANCED Water Networks platform, this exceptional framework will add to building up PUB's operational efficiency and resilience. The Smart Water Grid Analytics Platform can identify and limit water quality and tension issues in the network. For more efficient decision-making, it is able to produce precise simulations and suggest necessary corrective actions.PUB will gain improved visibility of the network conditions, with enhanced analytics capabilities to simulate and anticipate. This will empower PUB to plan a more global network management procedure, further improving its tasks and limiting burden to its customers. In order to address the critical shortage of drinking water in Metro Iloilo, SUEZ and JEMCO, a leading construction company in the Philippines, are working together to design, construct, and run a large-scale seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) desalination plant.
