This milestone was achieved following a rigorous testing and commissioning process conducted by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines.CARE is a 74.2 MWp ground-mounted solar PV project, representing the first utility-scale solar power initiative in the Bicol Region. It will supply clean energy to the national grid, with the majority of its electricity output sold under a 10-year Power Supply Agreement with a subsidiary of the Aboitiz Power Corporation Group, ensuring a stable revenue stream. NRE is committed to the Philippine renewable energy sector and is currently developing the 145 MWp NPSI solar project in Visayas.
