However, in recent years, women leaders have been making a significant impact on education in Asia. These women leaders are changing the education landscape in Asia by addressing the systemic barriers to quality education and creating more opportunities for girls and women. They are paving the way for a more inclusive and equitable society where every child has the chance to learn and grow. In this special issue, we have focused on such women leaders. The cover story of this issue features Dr. Roshayani Arshad, Chief Executive, INTEC Education College. Through her dedication to academic excellence, she has brought INTEC to new levels of achievement. Prior to taking on her leadership position at INTEC, she spent most of her years as an academician immersed in research. She led several impactful research initiatives in the areas of financial accounting and the reporting of sustainable investment and impact assessment. Her stint as a senior research fellow with Permodalan Nasional Berhad provided her with vital insights into how education may empower entire communities, by shifting mindsets and building confidence. Also featuring in the issue is Judy Retti Witono, one of Asia's admired leaders in education. With her exceptional leadership skills and unwavering dedication to the education sector, Judy has made a lasting impact on the lives of many students and educators alike. With a background in chemical engineering and prior experience in the industrial research and development agency under the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, she has a unique perspective and knowledge that she brings to the classroom at Parahyangan Catholic University. Keeping abreast of the latest developments in the education landscape, Asia Business Outlook has shortlisted the top 10 women leaders who have proven their excellence.
