The size of the worldwide corporate wellness market was estimated at $51.0 billion in 2021, and it is anticipated to increase at a CAGR of 4.38 percent from 2022 to 2030. Numerous companies and firms across numerous industry sectors have begun establishing health programs for their staff, which will increase demand in the market. The market for corporate wellness is anticipated to grow as people become more aware of the importance of employee health and wellbeing.
Corporate mental wellness services and wellness solutions catered specially for the ageing workforce are the two areas which are expected to experience tremendous growth. In many businesses, the pandemic’s aftermath has intensified attention on the value of mental wellbeing as a component of overall well-being. Founded in 2019 and based in Singapore, Baseline Fitness is offering bespoke wellness solutions to private clients as well as corporate entities.
Curating Bespoke Solutions
Although there are many different types of fitness businesses, many of them only emphasize the physical side of training. Baseline Fitness, on the other hand, takes a more comprehensive approach to the client’s requirements and collaborates with them on a variety of other issues, such as behavioural modification, habit formation, fitness knowledge, and understanding.
Additionally, the trainers go to their clients and can tailor strategies to fit their needs. By customizing fitness solutions to the unique characteristics of the client’s workforce and providing a variety of adaptable programs that meet their demands, Baseline Fitness introduces the notion of personalized fitness to corporate clients.
“We recognize that fitness is not a one-size-fits-all model and much more than spending hours in the gym. As co- founders, we both have work experience in a corporate setting outside of the fitness industry. As such we are in the unique position of appreciating the challenges our clients face, as we have experienced the time, energy, and environmental challenges in our own fitness journeys. Our unique background allows us a greater depth of understanding and empathy for the challenges that the typical corporate workforce faces in maintaining their
overall well-being”, shares Stephanie Chu & Viknesh Pillai, Co-Founders.
Beginning just a few months before the pandemic, Baseline Fitness had to overcome various challenges to establish a strong and steady consumer base during its initial development phase. The company also pivoted its operations to offer remote fitness and online corporate health projects, which further solidified the team’s credibility.
Baseline Fitness makes the task of understanding the diverse needs of the workforce in a corporation simple for the clients. This is achieved by learning about the workforce demographics and suggesting potential areas of interest. Additionally, it tries to promote multiple kinds of workshops covering a vast array of topics to cater to the varied needs of the end user rather than holding one workshop for everyone.
Furthermore, instead of being committed to a single style of training, Baseline Fitness strives to identify the goals of the clients and devise ways in which they could best achieve these goals. The company’s ultimate aim is to promote health and wellness while making the process more enjoyable by aligning the regimens with the client’s personal preferences. Doing so, Baseline Fitness ensures that clients get engaged with fitness and exercise for the long term without giving up.
Baseline Fitness believes in the philosophy of ‘Movement for Life’ which holds that anybody, regardless of age or background, can include fitness into their lives & experience a higher quality of life
Future Roadmap
“We aim to share our philosophy of ‘Movement for Life’ as we grow our base of private and corporate clients, and to help as many as we can achieve greater overall wellbeing”, adds Stephanie Chu. Baseline Fitness believes in the philosophy of ‘Movement for Life’ which holds that anybody, regardless of age or background, can include fitness into their lives and experience a higher quality of life.
The team is motivated by this conviction when tailoring programs for private clients. The company also focuses on how to continually improve interactions and engagements with corporate clients, enhancing the availability of fitness and wellness among the workforce by sharing knowledge and best practices.
