Is the Epoch of Electric Vehicles upon us?

Carlos Ghosn, the former CEO of Nissan and Renault once said, “The time is right for electric cars- infact the time is critical”, with the threats of global warming looming over our heads, carbon dioxide emissions increasing everyday with direct correlation to the increasing cars on streets, the health and ecological complications are becoming more and more visible with every passing day, to combat the increasing emissions, the electric vehicles were seen as the panacea. The evolution of battery technology grew hand in hand with automobiles, it wasn’t long before vehicles operating purely out of electricity began to occupy the streets and have received good reception from all masses.
