Plasser (India) Private Limited, (a local subsidiary of the family owned P&T Austria) designs, manufactures and services the most up-to-date, high performance and highly sophisticated machines for track maintenance, track laying as well track renewal. Employing approximately 1500 workforce with 120 de-sign and service engineers in India, the company has a proven track record of successfully supplying more than 1000 machines since 1965 to Indian Railways, Metros, Private Infrastructure Companies and foreign railways. The machines manufactured in the state of the art factories in Faridabad ad Karjan are customized and tailor made for our customers with special emphasis on applying technology most appropriate for the local conditions.
Plasser India also offers comprehensive customer services which include specialized training, supply of original spare parts, technical and life enhancement service. The company has been revolutionizing track maintenance technology for decades laying special emphasis on cost efficiency, quality and innovation in track construction and maintenance. We are the only manufacturer in the world that offers a complete range of machines for laying and maintaining rail-way tracks. Covering almost all track works, our offer ranges from simple tamping machines to 200 m long high-capacity systems. We meet your customers' wishes with custom-tailored solutions (Individual Design) or individualised machines based on a modular design system (ModularCustomizing). This allows for short delivery times and fast approval.

We started our historical journey in India way back in 1965 by delivering the first P&T Track Maintenance Ma-chine to Indian Railways and establishing a permanent service depot in India. Since then there has been no looking back. Plasser India has delivered more than 1000 machines since the last five decades. We have also invested in enhancing our production capabilities by setting up a new manufacturing plant in Karjan to meet the growing requirements of the India and global market. Further modernization and expansion plans are in the pipeline.
