Animoca Brands Becomes AWS Activate Provider, to Develop Web3 Ecosystem

Animoca Brands, a Hong Kong-based company that is advancing digital property rights for gaming and the open metaverse, announced on Aug 16 that it has become an official AWS Activate Provider, which will help to accelerate Web3 development and true digital property rights.

According to Animoca Brands, the partnership enables the company to provide its portfolio companies with the tools, resources, content, and expert support needed to build on AWS and accelerate development for Web3 products and services.

Portfolio companies of Animoca Brands will also be able to apply for up to $25,000 in AWS Activate credits to support development on AWS.

Animoca Brands said it is highly active in the development of decentralised ecosystems that offer users the benefits of true ownership over their digital assets, with a growing portfolio of over 450 Web3 companies and projects.

It also stated that the ability to truly own digital property is a keystone of the open metaverse, in which participants can become owners and stakeholders rather than just users.

The collaboration between AWS and Animoca Brands, according to the statement, focuses on nurturing upcoming Web3 companies in Animoca Brands' portfolio and providing them with technical, networking, fundraising, and marketing support from the AWS Startup team via the AWS Activate programme, which includes credit, access to solution experts, mentorship, and exclusive content and offers.
