Airbus has appointed Annapurna Vishwanathan as Vice President, Head of Information Management and Digital for India & South Asia. With nearly two decades of experience in technology management and digital transformation, she is set to drive Airbus’s digital strategy in the region.
Before joining Airbus, Annapurna served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Cummins India, where she led IT strategy development and implementation to enhance business outcomes.

She brings 15 years of experience across leading global companies such as Coca-Cola, GE, and Atos Origin. At Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Ltd., she was Head of Digital, spearheading the company’s digital strategy across manufacturing, logistics, commercial, and sales functions.
Annapurna also spent 11.5 years at GE, where she worked across multiple technology domains, including product development, ERP, applications, M&A, IT infrastructure, and security. She has contributed to seven industry verticals across the US, Europe, and South Asia, excelling through multiple leadership programs.
With her extensive expertise, Annapurna Vishwanathan is poised to lead Airbus’s digital transformation, strengthening its technological footprint in India and South Asia.
