DHL eCommerce and Esyms, an online pharmacy and health solutions provider, are working together to transform medicine delivery in Malaysia. Through this agreement, DHL eCommerce's experience with package delivery and returns logistics will be used to help hospitals and clinics better assist patients in having safe and effective access to medications.
Integrating DHL eCommerce's services with Esyms' AllMeds application is the main goal of the partnership. AllMeds improves patient involvement, expedites pharmacy workflows, and eases traffic at hospital and clinic pharmacy counters. Patients can safely pay for prescription drugs, upload prescriptions, track deliveries made possible by DHL eCommerce, and receive order notifications via the AllMeds app.
Through improved distribution networks and digital innovation, this project advances the Malaysian government's goal of enhancing public healthcare. The expansion of DHL eCommerce's position in the healthcare and life sciences sectors is also in line with DHL Group's Strategy 2030.
Time-sensitive pharmaceutical delivery will be given priority by DHL eCommerce through the use of its accelerated lane service.
The managing director of DHL eCommerce Malaysia, Saurabh Kumar, highlighted the importance of specialized logistics solutions in the healthcare industry and took delight in working with Esyms to solve issues like lengthy wait times for drug pickup. Additionally, he expressed confidence that the alliance will have a favorable effect on the healthcare industry and promote more cooperation.
