Fintech firm PayMe India, which offers short-term financial support to salaried employees, has chosen Vineet Daniel as its chief technology officer, said a statement issued today.
Daniel joined the firm as deputy product and technology officer a few months back. In his new role, he will be working closely with Mahesh Shukla, the founder and CEO, to define, prioritise and realise the product roadmap of the company.
He will drive tech innovations, implement emerging technologies that are in alignment with the product vision and roadmap. Besides developing an automation-driven culture, he will spearhead the in-house engineering team, contract development partners, and look at building deeper API integrations for the company's platform. One of his key responsibilities will be to build a technology leadership team that develops a strong and focused culture and be responsive to the organisation’s needs.
“Vineet is an outstanding leader and we are confident of him leading our tech strategy to greater heights thereby driving performance, efficiency and effectiveness of engineering and product development," said Shukla.
Daniel comes with experience of more than 18 years in understanding and managing IT services and technology across industries such as e-commerce, SaaS, edtech and publishing, among others. He has worked with companies like BenoSoftware, AiEnable, SendinBlue, and Letsbuy.com.

The firm has raised seed capital of $2 million in 2018 from Singapore-based angel investors.
