Disprz, an enterprise software as a service (SaaS) learning and skilling platform based in India, announced on Aug 7 that it has raised $30 million in a Series C funding round. According to Disprz, the round was led by Lumos Capital Group and 360 ONE Asset (IIFL), with participation from Kae Capital, KOIS, and Dallas Venture Capital.
The funds raised in the round, according to the statement, will be used for global market expansion and product development, including the integration of generative AI across the learning and skilling cycle.
Disprz intends to expand its presence in emerging markets where it already has a presence, such as India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Additionally, the company intends to enter the US market.
The funds will also be used to fuel investment in the next wave of innovation powered by generative artificial intelligence (AI) and cognitive sciences, enabling personalised content creation, content discovery, and skills intelligence, as well as assisting organisations in making the transition to skill-based talent management.
Disprz will also use the funds to grow its global team, hire data scientists, skill scientists, and software engineers, and shape the future of people advancement and intelligence, including additional investments in Generative AI capabilities.
In addition, the company intends to accelerate its success in the markets in which it operates by establishing larger and more localised go-to-market teams and increasing brand awareness in the new era of skill-based talent management.
Disprz aims to form strategic partnerships and make strategic investments in addition to market expansion and product development.
