Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, reported that the project has been sanctioned by the Union Ministry of Textiles and will be the first integrated textile park of its kind in India.
This PM MITRA Park project would expressively increase the state's industrial landscape and strengthen India's textile sector on the global stage. The park will cover 2,100 acres and is expected to attract major investment to create numerous employment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.
Construction activities for the park are expected to be completed within 14 months, and feature several modern facilities, with a 20 MLD Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant, a solar-powered energy facility, and plug-and-play Built-To-Suit (BTS) units. In addition, residential complexes will be built for workers, ensuring comprehensive infrastructure for the project's workforce.
Yadav announced land allocations at the park. Applications for land allocation will be invited soon. He mentioned that investment proposals worth Rs. 10,000 crore had already been received, indicating strong interest from the industrial sector.
CM Yadav said, "The Park will energize the Indian textile industry in Madhya Pradesh and provide employment to lakhs, significantly strengthening the state’s economy."
The location is strategically located in Bhainsola village, Badnawar tehsil, in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district. It is around 110 km from Indore, 85 km from the Pithampur industrial cluster, and just 50 km from the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway via Ratlam. The nearest port, Hazira, is 452 km away.
