McLaren Automotive, the British manufacturer of ground-breaking supercars, has appointed Robert Holtshausen as Middle East and Africa (MEA) Market Director.
Holtshausen, who has over ten years of experience at McLaren Automotive and over six years of experience working in the Middle East and Africa (MEAF), will oversee the company's regional operations from the brand's office in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Holtshausen began his career in automotive sales and marketing before joining McLaren Automotive in 2012. He was most recently the region's sales manager for the Middle East and Africa. Holtshausen's new role will focus on maintaining the brand's dominant position in the market, and he will report directly to Brett Soso, the company's Managing Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, who is based in Woking, United Kingdom.
“I’m delighted to announce Robert’s new appointment at what promises to be a very exciting time for our brand with McLaren celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year. Robert brings a wealth of brand experience into the role, and I am confident that his expertise and result-focused approach will allow us to maintain the highest standards of professional service and operational excellence for the benefit of our Retail Partners and discerning customers,” said Brett Soso, Managing Director – Europe, Middle East & Africa.
“The MEAF region provides amazing opportunity and I look forward to contributing to, and driving, our continued success in the region,” said Holtshausen.
