Qatar Creates Digital Portal For Foreign Investors

Qatar has created its first digital portal for international investors looking to explore business potential in the Gulf country, according to the Investment Promotion Agency (IPA).

According to the IPA, an official organisation that inaugurated the portal on Tuesday, the online platform, Invest Qatar Gateway, allows international investors to seek for business partners in Qatar's public and commercial sectors, check for tender offers, and post their tenders.

Investors may also use the portal to contact the IPA's investor relations staff for assistance, according to the Xinhua news agency.

According to the statement, the agency also intended to establish Access Qatar later this year to give investors with arrival assistance, customised information packets, and round-the-clock help via social media platforms.
