Team Marksmen’s Influential Leaders of India 2024 recognizes rare leaders of mettle, in an era where great leadership greatly exceeds supply
If you truly think about it, long and hard, leadership is everywhere.
Cast your mind’s eye to how a parent stood steadfastly by you in a time of need, refusing to leave your side or allow anyone to cast aspersions on you.
Think of that teacher that realised what needed to be done to coax the best out of you, and set about doing so silently, thanklessly.
Or how about that time you set out for an early, early morning jog on the beach, only to find a sea of volunteers diligently cleaning things up, all with no one asking for it to be done.
Through acts big and small, leaders have woven a thread through the fabric of our lives in ways known and unknown.
Cut to today, and we see organizational managers, supervisors, and executive leaders as leadership figures in positions of authority. But leaders come from everywhere, and we have unconsciously imbibed leadership principles from so many people all through the course of our lives. Through it, we have crafted our own philosophies.
But once again, we implore you to think of the nature of leadership. The true nature of leadership. And then, a starker image will emerge. That of leaders being in short supply, even as India’s biggest head honchos demand 70-hour work weeks, and young employees in the prime of their lives literally drop dead, in dark scenes reminiscent of the tales of karoshi that once emerged regularly from Japan.
True leaders are those that inspire the greater good within us, sparking the desire to run through figurative walls, with them alongside us. The spirit of leadership is rare and well worth celebrating, and Team Marksmen will be holding aloft shining exemplars of the art, craft, and practice of leadership at Influential Leaders of India 2024.
This seminal event, to be held on 26th September at The Lalit, Mumbai, will see leaders from diverse walks of industry reflect on the principles that separates great leadership from the merely good, and will hoist aloft outstanding leaders in a glittering recognition ceremony.
Driven by research, this unique initiative has shortlisted leaders on the below parameters:
Speaking ahead of the event, Sharad Gupta, Co-founder, Team Marksmen Network, said “It is not the titles conferred on us that make us leaders. It is the collection of choices we make, the conscious cultivation of organisational culture, and the acts of courage that we carry out. The journey of leadership is a never-ending one, and Team Marksmen’s recognition of the Influential Leaders of India 2024 is a tiny step towards honouring those with a differentiated, transformative approach to leadership that sets them apart from their peers.”
