UBP Asia Management Appoints Ivan Wong as Region Head North Asia and Hong Kong Branch

Ivan Wong to join as Region Head North Asia and Hong Kong Branch Chief Executive and Eric Morin to become Region Head South East Asia and Singapore Branch Chief Executive.

UBP’s ambition is to become one of the leading wealth managers in the region and the Group is strongly committed to the continued development of its Asia business.

Reflecting this, the company has announced two senior leadership appointments in Asia.

Ivan Wong will join UBP on 14 November 2022 as Region Head North Asia and Hong Kong Branch Chief Executive (subject to regulatory approval). With 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, Ivan will bring deep market expertise, an outstanding network and detailed understanding of regional dynamics as we continue to develop our North Asia business.

Ranjit Khanna will step down from his roles as Head of South Asia and Singapore Branch Chief Executive.
Eric Morin will become Region Head South East Asia and Singapore Branch Chief Executive (subject to regulatory approval). At a time when Singapore is becoming an increasingly important location for the Greater China market, Eric’s success in leading the North Asia business will provide valuable focus on this fast-growing segment in the Lion City.

Eric’s 10 years of experience in South East Asia leadership roles will also ensure continued success in UBP's core markets of Singapore, ASEAN, NRI Asia and international clients.
