Vietnam Launches Tech Portal to Announce Innovation and Digital Solutions

The Ministry of Science and Technology initiated the Information Portal to gather and publicize scientific, technological, innovative, and digital transformation products and solutions.

The portal serves as the official medium of the Ministry of Science and Technology for receiving, assessing, choosing, and promoting technology products, solutions, and digital transformations that have been successfully implemented and utilized in Vietnam. Businesses, organizations, and individuals are able to register, submit proposals, and monitor feedback results online, eliminating the need for paperwork.

During the opening ceremony, Mr. Pham Duc Long, the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, remarked that the platform serves not only as a means to facilitate the digital transformation effort but also as a connection between technological innovations and development strategies, helping to enhance national competitiveness.

"More than a digital platform, the Portal represents a new spirit, arousing the movement of startups, creativity, innovation, improving work efficiency and labor productivity, promoting the spirit of autonomy, confidence, self-reliance, self-reliance and national pride," he said.

Mr. Do Ba Dan, the Chairman of Tri Nam Group, stated that this environment is favorable for companies to present and seek appropriate technology solutions. He thinks user reviews are the most crucial, so he recommended that the platform incorporate a product rating feature.

In the meantime, Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy, General Director of Misa, recommended that the Ministry establish clear assessment criteria so that companies can easily comply, while also categorizing documents by size, industry, etc., to facilitate reference and retrieval.

The portal currently publishes 71 digital technology products and solutions across various sectors including industry, construction, agriculture, environmental resources, transportation, postal services, logistics, education, healthcare, culture, society, finance, banking, trade, and services.
