YouTrip, Singapore's multi-currency e-wallet, has integrated Apple Pay, giving users a more seamless way to pay for in-store purchases, online transactions, and public transportation.
According to a statement issued by YouTrip on Aug 15, this integration makes it even easier for YouTrip cardholders to pay for their travel expenses, including public transport when traveling abroad and in Singapore.
According to the statement, Apple Pay on YouTrip allows users to link their YouTrip cards to their iOS devices, making transactions faster, more secure, and hassle-free.
"YouTrip began as a travel wallet five years ago and has since evolved into the go-to payment option not only for foreign currency transactions, but also for everyday transactions for various purposes," said Caecilia Chu, YouTrip's Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder.
The integration of Apple Pay follows the June release of YouTrip 2.0, which included a modernized upgrade to the app interface and card design.
YouTrip is a Southeast Asian financial technology firm focused on developing the next generation of digital financial services for consumers and businesses.
