YTL Communications Sdn Bhd has entered into two important memorandums of understanding with Equinix Inc., the global leader in digital infrastructure, and Transcelestial, an innovator in laser communications technology. In a statement, the firm mentioned that these strategic partnerships are intended to deliver advanced technology solutions to businesses in Malaysia by improving connectivity and AI capabilities in a more sustainable way.

YTL Communications will allow international clients to connect to YTL AI Cloud via Equinix, addressing the increasing demand for enhanced computing in the area. With Equinix’s worldwide interconnection services, companies can safely connect to YTL AI Cloud for GPU-as-a-service, providing on-demand access to cutting-edge GPUs for AI tasks. Backed by 100% renewable energy at YTL’s 500MW Green Data Centre Park, this partnership allows companies to adopt AI without harming climate sustainability, in line with worldwide movements towards responsible AI growth.
