Dr. Hermann Klein-Hessling is a certified agronomist and agricultural engineer who received his degrees from various German institutions.In addition, he holds a Master’s and Ph.D. Degree from the US in Animal and Poultry Sciences, as well as an MBA Degree from Singapore Management University, an Executive Diploma in Board-Directorship from the Singapore Institute of Directors, along with a Degree as a Registered Management Consultant from the Singapore Institute of Management Consultants. He started his professional career early by working on his parent’s family farm in Germany, where he was born and raised. This formed the base for Dr. Klein-Hessling’s practitioner’s-based expertise and his passion for agriculture and livestock production.
He developed his unique, well-seasoned applied and theoretical knowledge and business comprehension from working in all facets of ‘high-input’ crop farming as well as operating or servicing multiple animal production systems globally. He has lived on three continents and worked in numerous multinational, multicultural companies in various leadership positions in the US and Europe while spending the last 11 years in a variety of countries throughout South-East Asia mostly servicing vertically integrated companies from his home base in Singapore.
