The animation industry in the Asian region has rapidly developed over the last few years, and has now become a leading force in the world. Earlier, it was mostly Japan that had monopoly in this field, however, there is a sea change now and countries like China, Korea, and India are coming up with their own anime aggressively. Japan remains one of the most influential countries, as the phenomena of anime are gradually gaining popularity worldwide. The industry has advanced with the new trends like 3D animation and CGI integrated into the animated movies, but the techniques of telling the stories and the art styles are still as different as they were in the past. The popularity of anime has grown over the years and is now readily available globally; streaming platforms have even bought more anime content than ever before to cater for the global market.
