Strategic or commercial business decisions like raising funds, mergers and acquisitions, transfer of ownership of the business, disputes arising amongst shareholders or family, consensual assessment of business value, or simply compliance with regulatory or accounting requirements rely heavily on valuations of securities or financial assets. In India, companies need to fulfill certain norms and be in compliance with the rules contained under Income Tax Act, Companies Act, Foreign Exchange Management Act and more.
Trustable assessments are essential to the smooth operation of the financial markets, corporations, administrations, and all the stakeholders affected by financial changes. Objective valuations are becoming more important everywhere, especially in India, as a consequence of increasing shareholder activities and growing concerns around protecting their interests. In India, valuation as a field of specialized professional domain is still evolving, and Finvox Analytics is leading this growth in spreading awareness about valuations. Long before the notion of a registered valuer was developed in India in 2017, Finvox Analytics was a visionary enterprise in recognising the tremendous potential and promise in the valuation assessment domain.
The firm was established as a stand-alone valuation specialist organization in 2015 by pioneering entrepreneurs Amrish Garg and Gandharv Jain. “We are the only valuation firm in India to have both on-shore and offshore valuation services under one roof. While working in the matured markets for valuation, such as the US, we and our team get first-hand experience of performing complex valuations and learning these technical skills. By implementing these skills in an evolving market like India, we are able to create an edge and differentiation for ourselves”, says Gandharv Jain, Co-Founder, Finvox Analytics.
Services & Market Position
Valuation and related services, and transaction support services make up the core service areas for Finvox Analytics. The scope of valuation related services extends to include business valuations, portfolio valuations, valuation of derivatives and complex instruments, intangible asset valuations, asset impairment testing for financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and
insolvency proceedings. The firm also offers due diligence, deal negotiation, and fund raising services under the rubric of transaction support services. Finvox has substantial expertise in a number of India's high-growth and high-potential industries, including renewable energy and tech start-ups. When it comes to sustainable renewable power, they have close association with all the key companies that account for over 60 percent of India’s existing solar and wind power generation. “We are currently one of the largest and well renowned valuation firms in Delhi NCR in terms of team size and number of valuation engagements executed in a year. We are also one of the first few valuer entities in India to get registered for securities and financial asset classes.
We always follow a solution-oriented approach in our work and always focus on adding value to our clients”, adds Amrish Garg, Co-Founder, Finvox Analytics. High quality valuation services, though highly required by clients, are offered by only a handful number of consulting firms in India. Needless to say, clients often struggle with common challenges like getting timely deliveries or getting quality work done. By prioritizing the work based on the clients' timelines, multi-tasking, well aligned team structure, streamlined and standardized processes, educating clients on the responsibilities and liabilities of the valuation professional, Finvox is addressing these concerns through their range of specialized services.
Future Roadmap
Across both domestic and global markets, there is a substantial growth opportunity for valuation professionals. With the aim of fulfilling its vision of turning Finvox into the most sought-after valuation firm across the world, adding value to the clients by providing specialized services, adding value to the valuation industry by imparting knowledge and making it a properly recognized and structured field of profession, and providing a conducive environment that encourages employee growth, the firm is currently focusing on enhancing skills of every employee and expanding into new territories, both within and outside of India. This is the imperative goal for the firm. After establishing themselves in Delhi, US, Singapore and Middle East geographies, Finvox Analytics plans to establish offices in Mumbai and Bangalore in near future. Canada, Australia, and the UK are the priority locations for setting up offices outside of India.
