Over the years, the realm of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has grown exponentially owing to enormous government support and rising demand for easy and affordable technologies. However, the implementation of AI and Machine Learning (ML) in the business segment is still in its budding phase. Application areas like computer vision are data-intensive and computeintensivemaking it difficult for companies to easily switch to an AI-enabled solution. To expand further, challenges pertaining to data annotation, server costs, qualified engineers, and data privacy, add to the difficulty of adopting AI solutions. In alleviating such hindrances, AI companies - that strive to make a difference in society through their service spectrum - play a prominent role. Nurtured to incorporate the same idea, EXAWIZARDS India stands apart from the crowd as a fine example.
Kick-started as a fully owned subsidiary of Japan-based EXAWIZARDS Inc in 2020, EXAWIZARDS India is known for its one-stop services and AI-first innovations. Aiming to build an AI PaaS framework, the EXAWIZARDS brand and its branches covering Japan, India, and the USA have been instrumental in creating reliable AI-first products and services across varied sectors. One such service offering is a proprietary synthetic data generation engine. Using a propriety simulation engine, EXAWIZARDS provides one-of-a-kind synthetically generated training data with accurate annotations. Backed by efficient ML algorithms that further make the data look realistic, the clean data generated is then augmented with the existing data sets, to train ML models that are data-efficient and adapt well to custom domains.
The list of services does not stop there; but also includes distinctive solutions like Optical AI, Robotics, TINK, and EXABASE. Engineered with multiple optic systems, Optical AI captures invisible and indiscernible elements in an image, which traditional vision sensors cannot capture. Built by a talented team of robotics engineers, the robotics platform solution of EXAWIZARDS is programmed to adapt and execute difficult operations like weighing powder and grasping irregular shapes. TINK, on the other hand, is a pay-as-you-go subscription service that assists nursery schools to photograph their kids through an automated process using ML algorithms.
For business sectors with smaller profit margins, it becomes imperative, yet challenging, to afford the cost of building systems that serve AI products and services. Donning the role of a consultancy firm, EXAWIZARDS has developed EXABASE which empowers companies to increase their speed to market by using an array of customizable and ready-to-use automation services, which include APIs, MLOps, and SaaS AI applications. The users can also combine more than one of these reusable use cases to increase overall operational efficiency.
With such avant-garde technology solutions in its repository, EXAWIZARDS India is currently strengthening its in-house plugand- play product,
AI camera platform, which integrates into existing CCTV infrastructure and helps users to assess security threats and make an informed decision. Run on an edge-computing framework, the camera converts passive video recording devices into more advanced video analytic platforms. “For example, if any CCTV cameras capture an unauthorized person within the premises of a school, the camera platform immediately alerts the administration with a 20-second video recording of the event. The same can be accessed through a dashboard or mobile app on our platform”, explains NishanthKoganti, CEO & Designated Partner of EXAWIZARDS.
The Backbone of Excellence
“People think that AI is a magic wand, and they can get anything they want. But that’s not true. So, we need to guide the companies about the possibilities of the current technology setup", quips Manas Shah, Head of Product Development at EXAWIZARDS India. By adopting a 5-point model, EXAWIZARDS follows a strategic process that helps the veteran team customize quality solutions to cater to customers’ every need. They also make sure that the products are deployed at EXAWIZARDS with the technology and security protocols of the client company.
Pledging to bring experts with proven prowess and experience under one roof, EXAWIZARDS and its subsidiaries house a network of domain experts, ML engineers, system engineers, business consultants, and designers, who share their passion for delivering end-to-end value propositions to the customers. The Indian division hires some of the best graduates from leading institutions like IIT and IIITs, who also know deeply about ML algorithms in domains like computer vision. The employees are also trained to be full-stack engineers, who can work in any department of technology. They are also trained to ensure efficient software administration and optimization on the cloud.

Steered by such an adept team, EXAWIZARDS Indiaworks primarily on developing computer vision basedprojects for its parent company and its clients in Japan but has recently channeled its expertise into expanding its product and customer portfolio in India. “The requirements that we see in Japan and in India are very different. For example, in India, there is more emphasis on automation in the manufacturing and security sectors, whereas in Japan, the healthcare domain needs more attention because of its aging population”, says Nishanth. The brand wishes to unveil its AI smart camera in the domains of education, logistics, and manufacturing. EXAWIZARDS has recently partnered with a UAE - based AI vision hardware company and seeks to collaborate with UAE government organizations.
