Sharad Agarwal CEO
Sharad Agarwal joined the erstwhile Indian Airlines as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in 1986. He was to be groomed as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) and was trained to acquire a DGCA license for the job. Sharad was the youngest and fastest person to acquire the initial license on P&W JT 8D-9A/17/17A engines in Nov 1989, and later the B737-200 Airframe. He was also nominated for Airbus A300B2/B4 along with the GE CF6-50C/C2 course in 1993 and held the A&C license in March 1993. He then joined AIESL as a Deputy General Manager in November 2015, and in July 2019, he was promoted to General Manager and Quality Manager. He was recognized by the DGCA, EASA, and numerous other international regulatory bodies. Additionally, he has been the CEO of AIESL since May 2022.
