In the early years of 21st century, Gaurav with the limited resources of connectivity and infrastructure in Afghanistan used the mobile to communicate and monitor the population in real time. “I provided them with Blackberry phones and managed the team online through email and messaging platforms. We redefined the entire way logistics operations were managed, achieving timely and transparent communication with clients and stakeholders,” says Gaurav.
Expansion & Diversification
With the improvement of Afghanistan's logistics, Gaurav sensed the importance of diversification and the expansion to ensure the continuous growth. He built on the foundation of the family having a credible reputation and joined the struggle to transform the company into a multi-national logistic company that would serve a great number of industries and regions.
In 2016, ACTCO acquired an entire team of highly professional logistics personnel in Ras Al Khaimah. It opened its second branch in the UAE with 50 plus employees. After this, ACTCO started offering logistics services to different parts across the world apart from its core expertise of delivering services in Afghanistan and CIS countries.
