Our organization is dealing with specialized project logistics other than the traditional air, sea or land logistics. We focus on green field and brown field investments where we assist industries through logistics and partnering in servicing their needs end to end to bring the heavy equipment (overweight, oversize and odd size) from the pick-up point all the way to the foundation of a plant including commissioning and installation. With the One Belt One Road opportunities and also the growing economic landscape in neighboring countries, the demand will outpace the supply thus enable us as an equipment owner and service provider to gain some market share in assisting industries to expand in an efficient and cost-effective manner through the customized solutions that we provide.
What are the various services TERA offers to its clients?
Tera offers integrated project logistics services to our clients, which includes ship brokering, heavy lift chartering, heavy industrial movers, heavy lift and heavy transportation. Our USP comprises our capabilities to project manage with our own internal expertise who are qualified in their in respective fields including our in-house chartering desk and technical support team, to be able to furnish reliable and safe solutions to our client as well as the control over the inland movements in Malaysia especially with the equipment that we possessed.

Trailer manufacturers are already moving towards the direction of providing software that are able to advise immediately on the safety requirements, bending moments, the tipping point of the COG and other calculations to provide safe working solutions for trailer configuration for heavy loads while 3D animation are in play as well which illustrates the methodology of the logistics movement currently as we speak. Tera is adopting these new technologies.

We have received good testimonials from our respective clients. Tera has been quite successful in working out timely solutions for time-critical mobilization of equipment which require to be moved within a short span of time namely in the oil and gas industries especially in vessel chartering and also for the inland transportation. Secondly, Tera has also been assigned with jobs that face challenges from Mother Nature, where one of the case studies involving our cargoes being caught up and not reachable due to frozen river. We have successfully salvaged it out and connected the mother vessel in a timely manner due to our foresight and forward planning.
Our dedicated team worked around the clock to provide solutions to our client in the time-critical deliveries which resulted in large savings for the client by avoiding vessel detention. We also always travel the extra mile to do feasible studies for our client to ensure the that the moment a project has been awarded to Tera, we implement our best management practices in accordance to the statement methods to ensure the processes are carried out smoothly to ensure all risks are being managed to avoid unproductive incidents and to prevent accidents from happening.

Tera has always positioned itself to the needs of our clients by providing competitive proposals to their best interest and among the services we are emphasize is on the charter party agreement and logistics technical know-how. We have our in-house qualified ship broker and technical team who can assist in negotiating the best terms and to provide technical proposals in the’ interest of our clients .

Tera is an organization certified with ISO9001:2015 and ISO45001:2018. We always emphasize on the highest quality of service support to our clients. In our past track record, Tera has never failed to deliver the projects awarded to us and we always go the extra mile with our responsibilities to ensure the tasks are being completed to meet or exceed clients’ expectations. We have a very good team for the logistics end to end execution from documentation, customer service support, operation execution till the final delivery to the site. We have also successfully decommissioned a petrol chemical plant Petronas PVC in Kerteh. With our expertise in plus the know-how knowledge; we were able to identify part by part through the barcoding system and P&ID drawings to ensure the same plant being decommissioned at origin was able to be commissioned back at another location.

The job came with huge challenges on the scope and tasks which included packing, stuffing and other related multi modal transportation. We handled the project by keeping it as simple as possible to ensure the deliveries KPIs were met.
Tell us about the future roadmap of your company.
Tera is looking forward to enhance our presence and constantly upgrading our technology and equipment to be always on top of the future market expectations and demands. Simultaneously, we are looking forward to expand our presence regionally to other parts of the world to have our presence felt and meet the clients’ expectations regionally.
Dennis Tan, MD
Dennis has experience moving overweight and oversized cargoes around the world and handles turn key project logistics including plant assembly, relocation and removal. Dennis is passionate in the field and has handled many international clients globally. He has moved the monorail coach for LNT India same goes with the structural works for Reliance India. He has also personally handled logistics for Vale Malaysia plant set up and decommissioning and relocation of Petronas PVC plant, and other similar size of projects.
